Wow, I can't believe that there are actually people who think Furina hates Focalors! Didn't they realize that Furina has always believed her 'mirror-me'? Up until the end, she strongly believed in Focalors. That's why she told no one, not even when the traveller tempted her into confessing, or even when put on trial.

I didn't see people claiming Furina hates Focalors, but I saw quite a few instances of them portraying Focalors as some callous chessmaster who set up Furina to suffer and manipulated the whole of Fontaine. Like, goddamn, people. Focalors was dealt a hand to play. Egeria died, the Prophecy loomed over Fontaine, and for all she knew, defying Celestia openly could have meant her nation was next in line for utter annihilation. We don't know all the circumstances (I really hope future Fontaine quests will let us learn more about them), but I believe Focalors' plan was the best course of action to be taken at that point. And welp... Furina suffered more than any human could possibly withstand (which Focalors acknowledges), but let's be honest here - Focalors also spent 500 years locked inside the Oratrice, deprived of the human life Egeria sacrificed so much to gift them with. Knowing that she'll die if her plan pulls through, and if it doesn't... Well, she saw what happened in Khaenri'ah and knew they would *all* die in such a case. They both suffered, but Focalors knows she had it better than her human counterpart. Jeez, it's like a 3rd or 4th essay I drop under a Focalors/Furina vid on YT. I really can't have enough of Fontaine, even after all this time... ^^'

This really shows just how strong your voice really is, even if you were in your higher register a majority of the song. It's the sheer influence in your voice. It's so emotionally pulling. And I can't get enough of that last little belt you did at the end..it's such "icing on the cake" to this masterpiece.
