I made these over the weekend, and alhamdulilah the recipe is amazing! The wings went down so well. Question: I had lots of charring and black bits on the griddle pan, not sure how to minimise that.

Good job and turn them often to avoid that. Clean the griddle before adding more wings and if finishing on the girddle then cook on low medium heat.

I went to "Nando's" expecting to taste "the best chicken in the world" and ....ppffffrrtt...!! What a disappointment.. 😞 Although it definitely was delicious, I really wasn't that impressed with the flavor; I have tasted better chicken and for the price, the portions they serve are way too small. I felt that I was ripped off for so little chicken for that price they charged me wich it was almost $30 for what was supposed to be 3 thighs that looked like the size of an order of McDonald's chicken nuggets.

Wow, I made this with some substitutions and it was still great! I couldn't find fresh Thai peppers so I used dried ones, and I added a tomatillo to makeup for the loss of weight/water (no tomatillo has ever done anything except improve a piece of chicken, trust me) and Bam!
