@@uwildfishing Yeah for sure! Luckily some of the uncles watch my vids and know me from when I was down there catching sardines everyday. So most of them are cool but yeah always get those grouchy ones for sure

#2lb J-line and really small gold hook. You just jig the hook and they will bite them

@@mattw9987 Nah can use just the bare gold hook and they will wack it. I have used flies and grub strips and caught couple hundred but nothing seems to beat the gold hook haha

Awesome, sadly you are only allowed to use 2 hooks at a time in Hilo bay but i've seen guys use damashi on Westside and get plenty action! thanks for watching 🤙🏽
