Ingredients -
इमली की चटनी
इमली (बिना बीज​) - १/२ कप (१०० ग्राम​)
खाद्य तेल - १ छोटा चम्मच​
जीरा - १/२ छोटा चम्मच​
हींग - १/४ छोटा चम्मच​
गुड (कूटा हुआ) - १ कप​
चीनी - १/२ कप​
नमक - १ छोटा चम्मच​
सेके हुए जीरे का पाउडर - १ छोटा चम्मच
लाल मिर्च पाउडर - १/२ छोटा चम्मच​​
काला नमक - १/२ छोटा चम्मच​
गरम मसाला - १/२ छोटा चम्मच​
सोंठ + काली मिर्च पाउडर - १/२ छोटा चम्मच​

Tamarind Chutney
Tamarind (seedless) - ½ cup (100 gm)
Edible Oil - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - ½ tsp
Asafoetida - ¼ tsp
Jaggery (beaten) - 1 cup
Sugar - ½ cup
Salt - 1 tsp
Roasted-Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Red Chilli powder - ½ tsp
Black Salt - ½ tsp
Garam Masala - ½ tsp
Dried Ginger + Black pepper powder - ½ tsp

I was searching for imli chutney on KZbin when I came across this recipe. Having seen many and tried different versions, personally I would vouch for this as being the best recipe thus far. What I find impressive is that the presenter is pragmatic and understands the modern kitchen and cooking methods. For example; the use of blender to reduce wastage from the tamarind and adding either ginger powder at the end or raw ginger in the blender with tamarind. Succinct and brief. Thank you for whoever did the English subtitles. This helped me understand the process. Subscribed.

I have tried it. It's really sooooo good and tasty. My family liked it soo much. If you didn't like too much sweet flavor just reduce the quantity of gud (jaggery). Adjust the amount of jaggery as per your taste.

Whenever we make pani puri at home I make meethi chutney in different way.. 1.keep emli in water to get soft.. 2.take jaggery n emli n make a paste in grinder. 3. Pour the paste in to seive and strain it and keep it to stove to cook 4.fry cumin and black pepper till they get dark brown.. Don't fry in oil just fry it dry. 5.after that make a powder of cumin and Blackpepper. Add powder into the paste and stir till it's get dark brown in colour. I'm sure u gonna love this.. This meethi chutney reminds me the toffie tarmarind toffie😍😍it's the exact flavor..
