I had the same problem with a Shimano M8000 cassette on a Newman Hub. Slight play on the tooth of the gears and the tooth on the hub. Seems like I had a wrong batch of that Shimano cassette, because after buying a new cassette after 5xx km of annoying sound, the play was gone with that new cassette.

I have the same problem with my Shimano hub, casette gets loose over time, and makes a hell of a noise. I tighten the casette after every ride, so it’s pretty quiet now

i assume u got a NX Casette and u are missing a Spacer which is why the Lockring doesnt tight down enough. On some Hubs you need another Spacer behind the biggest cog of the Casette. Just try and look if it makes any difference

had the same noise at my old v10 tought its the chain or the hub but it was the cables get capgo and try again trust me okay i saw the whole video now its the hub you can try put more grease in or get a diffrent hub
