Just started listening to this song again after many years… Back then I remember exactly where I used to stand in the kitchen of a house I lived in whilst in a horrific relationship. This said everything I was feeling, but I had no voice at that time. But the anguish and pain of the words sung (and those of my soul) were countered by the uplifting music. Now I can look back and take immense joy from how far my life has come….and I still love this song. It’s powerful and beautiful. Dealing with a painful subject, but offering light.

What a great music this is. For me, the Slow Show is the discovery of the year even though they have been around for a bit longer. Beautiful music and brilliant lyrics.

I heard this on the radio in a furniture shop quite some time ago! I think it was last year. I tried to Shazam/SoundHound it at the time, but couldn't get a good enough recording with no background noise for it to be recognised. Spent ages Googling "Dresden" and never found it. Then, heard it yesterday on the radio and heard what it was called. Finally! ... and then find out you guys are from Manchester (never expected that!!)... so greetings from Bolton! Cracking song!

I heard this song on the Dermot O'Leary show on radio 2 on saturday 25th April, It just blew me away. On monday morning I was in HMV to buy the CD, Its fantastic, the best thing I have heard in years. Thats why at the age of 60 i still get excited by new music, I have never got stuck in the past but always looking forward to fresh exciting music. it was the singers voice that really sold it to me. lots of other band influences I can hear but they keep it minimal, LOVE IT. XXXXXXX Sean
