I have to say this is the coolest thing I have ever heard/seen a band do is actually sit down and teach the fans how to play one of their songs so we don't have to guess or wait until someone "figures it out" for us to be able to learn to play it. Mad props to Halestorm.

OK...so...the wife and I saw you guys at 'The Eastern' a few nights ago. The wife says "That's that song you play!" Yes. Who taught you that? Joe. Who's Joe? That guy When did he teach you that song? SO, I'm bound & determined to learn this as a surprise for my wife. We've been having struggles as a couple for a while now, but we're still hanging in there, and the lyric is very "Us". She walked in on me practicing just now & said "That's a nice tune", I was all, "Yep, just a thing to practice with." Lzzy's incredible vocals deservedly get a lot of attention - among the best rock voices ever in my estimation - and sometimes overshadows a very solid band. Cool to see such a down-to-earth band connecting with the fans like they do. I think they are one 'guitar hero' anthemy song away from being a household name. Awesome live performances and one of the best live albums ever.

Nice lesson and like he said 'the good ones are simple'. Metal/Hard Rock after 40 years is a pretty narrow genre but Halestorm has injected some needed new life. They have gotten tighter live over the years and the lyrics are top notch as good as anything out there.

This video is just one more thing in a long list of things that makes Halestorm different from the other bands out there. I saw them last night in Dewey Beach, DE. They play big stadiums yet still keep on playing small clubs like the Cork n' Bottle whre I saw them. They stay behind to meet their fans, how many other bands do that? When they were on the Uproar tour awhile back, there was all that stuff about Lzzy getting engaged. Didn't make much of it until I heard this song and some of her other lovey dovey songs. I actually really enjoy it, because it just shows how versatile the band can be, going from songs like I Get Off to this and then also having it on the same album as You Call Me A Bitch lol. Adds a great dynamic to their music!

Think of it like this. There are 4 beats in a measure. Hold down the C Chord. Hit the 5th (A) string on beat 1 with a down stroke. Beat 2 hit the 4th (D) sting with a down stroke. Beat 3 strum down but try to hit mostly the middle strings. On beat 4 go down on string 4(D) and up on string 3(G). Same thing basically on chords F and Am. On the G chord. Strum down on beat 1 then up on string 1, then up on string 2, and up on string 3. Hope that helps.
