Being in my 20's (25) I'm definitely finding it difficult to make friends. I've never been one to have a big friend group but it's been a lot harder to keep people around after graduating high school. At this point in my life, like you said, everyone is at different stages of their lives. Some are in school still, some are getting married, moving, so with that it's hard to find time for each other. I hope I get to have my moment like you did where I find a core group of friends who really bring out the best in me and will give me the same feelings that your friend group does. Thank you for another amazing video in this series!

yesterday was my freshmen orientation and it's so true when u get asked "how do you make friends" you literally dont know like it just happens. all i did was pray and hope i can make some friends and it just happens and tbh im grateful for that like it takes so much mental strength to introduce urself to someone but at the same time it kinda feels effortless because that friendship just happens in an instant

No, because Saige had it RIGHT. As someone with BPD, it can feel SO personal and like abandonment when people don't reach out for a while, but it's just simply not true - 99.9% they love you no matter where they are, who they're with, etc. Their love for you doesn't just disappear randomly when they aren't with you, and that's something I've had to really truly grasp. I'm STILL learning to accept that. Their love doesn't disappear along with their physical presence. Just like if you love art, but it doesn't mean you hate it every second you're NOT actively being artistic. Simply untrue and silly. You don't stop existing to other people, and you don't stop being loved just because you aren't physically present with someone.

friendships are so essential. Making friends in yours 20s is so difficult. A year ago I moved to a new town, and I still don't have friends here which is a struggle because I thrive off connections. I find it very difficult to put myself out there, and the friend dates I have gone on, weren't those instant click connections. Back home, I do have friends and long distant friendships are also difficult. I've never felt like I belong in a group of friends, I was always an outsider or floated around different groups. It filled my heart seeing you have fun with friends and I hope someday I can do the same.

Honestly, making friends is harder when you're older ( even when in college or at a job ! ) it's not as easy as when you were a kid though. ( I still know my best friend from when I was 13, I'm 37 now. )
