I've probably rewatched this at least 15 times already. It's so interesting to watch the background and see what every dancer is doing individually and see who's in which shot. One interesting thing is when Bianca and Josh come to do their dance together, the subliminal people are in the background watching but when it cuts back to the same shot a couple seconds later they're all gone and it's just the two of them. Another is when they're dragged apart, the dancers who are dragging them change between shots.

I've listened to this song on repeat for hours. I can't get it out of my head, but quite frankly, I don't want to. It's so beautifully crafted and makes me feel alive! Or half-alive, at least, haha! some people in chat were talking about how they were disappointed that the cover art is ai. But as an artists perspective, I have mixed feelings on AI. I know the blood sweat and tears that goes into creativity of any form, and its a little daunting seeing how amazing AI can look. But the thing is, I've had a friend use AI to create an art piece by recreating it physically and changing it. the one main difference is emotion. No matter how hard you try, AI cant create that emotion, that time and effort, the emotional attachment that comes with a work of art, that same emotion that made me list a piece in an art show for "not for sale" or some extremely high price because it was some of my deepest emotions in paper and ink and paint. Now that i've ranted (as usual, this is what i do with everything, overanalyze and ramble), here's my point: The song is about a love that's just out of reach, subliminal, not yet real in your mind. They're unsure of if it's real and they're reaching for it but can't find solid ground. AI is artificial and unpredictable and thats what their love feels like at first. thats my interpretation but everyone can see it differently ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ have a nice day ;)
