When I was a kid I believed Blue from Blue’s Clues was a boy because she was blue and refused to believe otherwise😂 Blue and pink being gendered is just so ingrained into kids from an early age it has to be unlearned but having these “Bluey is a girl, girls can like and be blue too!” Conversations is good even if it doesn’t seem to be working. All the little conversations build on each other. It’s a process, you’re doing great!!

​@@oliviac295 it's ok she said, she said she wasn't taking orders but the woman really needed it and she usually films the cakes for us and the bluey one was for content so it's kind of not a surprise for the kid and it won't be filmed or shared with us, if we consider some stuff she said I'll offer you something which is not totally what you want but it'll be doing you and me a good favor, you get a cake and I get content, I don't think the discount was big and I think she makes up for the money by posting the vids and shorts

To be fair, if someone said they wanted a cake with red rosettes on it and the baker said they only want to do blue as they'd done red before, it's not exactly making the baker compromise when the paying customer is set on red. It is what they wanted for the cake they're paying for, after all. But equally, I can understand the baker turning down the order if they can't give the customer what they want! But I do absolutely agree she should charge what her cakes are worth, especially when it seems her business is not open at the moment ❤

She wanted the cake a specific way and mimo didn’t want to do it that way and changed the design. The discount was very fair and the customer was happy which is all that matters. Also I’m glad you’re not a baker if that’s your attitude. The lady was nice and asked mimo and mimo agreed to take her order so no the customer wasn’t “lucky”.

As a Aussie, Bluey confuses me because it’s normally a name given to males. 💁🏼‍♀️ and no it’s not because blue is seen as a boy colour. It’s just more a nickname that has been around for a very long time. Though the saying “True Blue” refers to anyone of any gender or race.
