love the moment the huge tools appear ! wasn't expecting that. Just one thing , multiple turn whip finish by hand with precision is possible, I do it all the time , learnt the technique from a fly fishing magazine article

I like and have both .I prefer the whip tool for para post and larger flies and streamer applications and the hitch tool for smaller flies and/or flies with #18-24 gauge rooster hackle the eye of the hook.
