I'd play a modded hl2 campaign that includes: - Beta weapons. Specially The ak47. Feels powerful - these textures and general beta aesthetics. - cut enemies ( bullsquid, cremator, etc)

It's from 2001,I know RTB "trenchcoat" metrocops are there and they were used in 2000 in the siggraph wich were the first test maps and also the first maps and the sounds are different from that techdemo.

@@LebronJamalJames-nr4fh No,back in 1999 it was only a concept and the first concept was only just art and the map was Borealis/Hyperborea which was heavily based on Half Life 1 but that was very hardly changed as we know.

Вообще не чего общего , сталкер делали криворукие недоучки , вырезали почти всю физику потому что не могли оптимизировать и убрать ошибки игры связанные с физикой , они даже за 7 лет производства игры не смогли убрать критические вылеты , баги , прогрузки карт и просадки фпс при дожде и беге по карте , бежишь и лаг на пустом месте потому что карта прогружается ))) мечта а не игра .

Yes. Half-Life 2 development start quickly after release of the Half-Life in 1998. There are some main menu leftovers in final game's files.

This isn't from 1999. It has ragdoll physics, but the Havok physics engine HL2 uses wasn't released until 2000.

I'm gonna correct what the video creator said. This is on the 2003 leak engine, with modifications. 1999 would have been the Hyperborea map, not the City 17 map. This is more like 2001. Some modifications are: Fixed up WC Mappack map, trenchcoat Metropolice, Gasmask Citizen remakes, and various weapon model modifications.
