i swear there is a theory that the "gman report" on gordon if you will, is like some form of implication that the entirety of half life is a simulation or some shit, i remember hearing that in a comment somewhere a long time ago, along with some other place i barely remember

@@ApertureAceall I know about this is that when you die, you get a game over screen, but that wouldn't happen if it was reality so it must be a simulation

@@ApertureAce well, essentially from what i remember the whole thing is a report of his responses in this simulation, however, there is of course some implications of this in the game, epecially in half life 2 with the game over screens when you fail something, along with the whole "SUBJECT TERMINATED" or "SUBJECTED HIRED" or whatever

What makes Gman an interesting character, is his motivations are unknown, who is he? is he one of the raptors disguise as a human? is he trying to warn Gordon of something? Ie he a reflection of hope to Gordon? To this day. No one knows
