My favorite Half Life moment is my friend at school telling me that you could bash people's head in with a crow bar and I thought that was the craziest thing you could do in a game.

Half-Life 2 is AMAZING. I recommend you watch some videos of the original Half-Life to see the graphics, just so that when you play Half-Life 2 you can fully appreciate how massive an upgrade it was. Also, after you finish Half-Life 2 and the episodes, I recommend that you watch Valve's Half-Life 25th anniversary and Half-Life 2 20th anniversary documentaries. And I highly recommend that you get a VR headset and play Half-Life: Alyx (play it after all the other games btw, despite it taking place before Half-Life 2). In my opinion, it's the best VR game ever made, and one of the best video games overall. Note that it came out 13 years after the previous Half-Life game, during which Valve was pretty much silent about Half-Life, so it's extra meaningful to all the fans that waited and had all but given up hope that Valve would ever return to the series. Anyway, after playing Half-Life 2 and the episodes, you'll understand why everybody wants Half-Life 3 so badly. And I have some good news: over the past year, and especially the past few months, solid leaks have shown that Half-Life 3 is likely coming soon, possibly even this year.
