The about face ones kind of go from a liquid to a powder when you start to blend then they fix down, I really like it, you can go really bold, or just get a line of color on your upper lid and then blend it out to look like you used a powder color. It's the first product I used that you recommended and I absolutely love them. Their loose glitter is amazing, super fine. I loved using the about face loose glitter and liquid liner for festival season this year! I still have EDCorlando to end my season and I'm gonna feel fabulous with these products! The liquid liners also worked great to custom color fake eyelashes using a spooly.

so here’s an idea: mixing inglot with eyeshadow makes for a good graphic liner medium, but have you tried as a liquid eyeshadow? 🤔

Even if About-Face cost more they just got into Ulta making them more accessible (+ points = money back) so I’m definitely getting those if they’re ever in stock 😂

I haven't used liquid eyeshadows since middle school soooo like 10+ years 😅🙈... I have no idea how they changed overtime, but I'm really curious 👀 I wouldn't be able to tell the difference looking from a far, you did great mixing up the perfect matches and this look is so fun love it!❤️

I personally like the fractal eye paints better for highlight. My eyes are very hooded and when I’ve used the half magic glitter shadows they’ve made my upper eye area look heavy. I think the formulas are comparable and you are spot on about the dry down difference. Another thing, the fractal eye paints feel like more of a shimmer. I like layering them over other liquid eyeshadows more, but they do lose potency when you place them over other colors. I think the half magic glitter shadows come through stronger with layering.

The AF fractal paints do make great highlighters!🤩 I could totally see them being more opaque over other shades tho since they are a pure shimmer!

I am new to liquid eyeshadow and I decided to go with Half Magic first because the color range was more curated, now that I have theses shades as a starting point. I am interested in picking up different colors from other brands like about face and danessa myricks now that I have a jumping off point color-wise if that makes sense.

im actually so disappointed with half magic. i bought a matte liquid shadow and for me the formula is mediocre and the packaging is soooo cheap. i have drugstore products that feel better to use. i love my about face products so im definitely going to stick with them and just wait for them to make a periwinkle lol

Oh no!! I’m sorry you had such a bad experience with them!😔 I agree that the packaging does feel a bit cheap. I wish About Face would use their applicator tho! I think the tear shapes applicator is my fav thing about them!
