from their session on John Peel's Radio 1 show, September 9, 1999 For all those who, like me, find the Peel session version superior to the released album one. Note original cheaper price of Pringles.

Ah the memories, John Peel and HMHB, without them I probably would not have got my A Levels.

Why can't I like this more than once? "While you were out at the Rollright Stones, I came and set fire to your shed” Was there ever a better lyric?

Good idea is to do a week's shopping at a 24 hour garage!!! Loved the Leadbelly reference " We got Crisps" etc etc!!

Best ever HMHB song was 'They've got the whole world in their house' in my humble opinion. Great guys to work with.

@@adampendergast9046 My only sad story about HMHB is the fact that they didn't drink their rider. Teetotal. I was heartbroken. But 2 cases of beer up!

Why did I imagine this song beding sung by Ben Minnotte of the Oddity Archive? (probably because if he was over here in the UK, he'd probably have several Half Man Half Biscuit albums in his collection, along with several Memorex tapes of the John Peel Show and off air recordings of Atlantic 252, VHS tapes full of music videos from the Lifestyle Satellite Jukebox and that Amstrad hifi that had a four track reording studio... and a Dukla Prague away kit)

I tried this in a local garage whereby you need a second mortgage to purchase the most commonplace non fuel item and was met with ' freezing cold in hospitality' and it is a kuck in the head. Especially when they fild their arms. Nigel blackwell ince added to give it extra spce if the sales assistant. TWAT BEHIND THE GLASS AND TRAY. if he was older to call him something more youthful like son. Mine was a sulky woman, and there was no que for anything but id annoyed said woman by this time by calling her 'fellaress' and asking for alcohol i didnt want due to inadequate mannners. I then just left. Has anyone gone as far as having a police call out by a sour member of the petrol/other over priced rubbish station cheery souls and who exactly got into trouble for wasting police time you the would be consumer or idol arse.?

Talk Radio has always been un-easy listening; now I can just giggle. "A Blues CD on the Hallmark Label; that's sure to be good." Oddly, I found Lightning Hopkins (when I googled 'Hallmark blues'), and he is quite good. Just sayin'

It's not really an album is it? It's several EPs and a few odds and sods thrown together. It is excellent though, especially the first six songs, which make up the Saucy Haulage Ballads EP.
