The morphing entities thing has been spotted in UFO encounters, too. I recall one case where a woman noticed 3 disk like craft flying and she said the two craft on the outside of the formation merged into the one in the middle, she mentioned how strange she felt watching it and how her mind was twisting in knots trying to figure out HOW that could even happen.

It sounds like those light beings in the first story might have been attempting to protect the group from those panther-like beings roaming the forest around them, and that the being earlier on that took the form of their friend might have been a panther-like being that shapeshifted in an attempt to get them earlier on. In the second story, it could have been a parallel realm that walked into for sure and only recrossing the river did they escape it (otherwise, how would they have arrived back to the cars to go home?). The dark beings that fused into the larger being obviously did not have ill intent or it would have hurt him beyond trying to get him to wake up and give him that message. Maybe it was its way of warning him that he was close to something that would have ended up killing him and his friends should they have stayed out and continued to search around? Just because the being was dark in appearance does not mean it was evil; it only jolted the car to wake him up and then did what it had to in order to get him outside so it could say to him what it did and then leave him alone. The feeling that group had of being watched and seeing things in their peripheral vision could have been those/that entities(y) that he encountered in the car trying to keep an eye on them and stop them from going or doing what would have ended up sealing their fates. Other beings may not all have the best ways of telling us to warn us about something or keeping us safe, but it becomes obvious when there is nothing really malicious about their actions beyond maybe spooking those who are not at all familiar with what we call the paranormal. Sometimes even the good beings will instill fear in us to force to us to leave and make sure we do not continue and encounter the malevolent beings in waiting.

I live in Circleville Ohio! I believe the campsite mentioned in the second story was at Hargus Lake, a state park which is about a half mile out of Circleville. I hike there often, it's a large wooded area around a lake with two separate camp sites in it. I have never heard of a mining town near here, and I haven't heard any strange stories about the park or woods, nor experienced anything weird there but this has me intrigued! Circleville is a train town and we do have trains constantly coming through so if the campers weren't from around here they may not have expected that and could have been hearing trains coming through town. But now I have to know, where are these train tracks and where is this mining town! Guys I'm gonna find it ... 🤠

even though people sense a profound evil in these beings there are many cases where the entity doesn't really seem to want to hurt them or drive them away but rather they seem to want to show something very important to them. the circleville encounter (especially the part where the entity said "you are so close) reminded me a bit about another encounter that happened to a ufo researcher named Christopher Pittman. he noticed noise coming from another room in his apartment as he was trying to sleep after witnessing two separate UFO's that evening, he wanted to go and investigate but suddenly something in his mind told him that if he wanted to validate his experiences all he had to do was get up and go look for whatever was in that room, everything he needed to see was there. Chris had this profound feeling that if he were to go there he would cross a line that he could have not return from and so he stayed in his bed and ceased his UFO investigations after that. i wonder if this is how people go missing, that they are looking for something and then this anomaly starts leading them to the object of their desire, i wonder what would have happened to Michael if he had persisted. would he have found Circleville? would he have stepped onto a trap? nothing in his path seemed to be very pleasing nor attractive to humans. could he have ever returned from Circleville? would he even want to return from there?
