I find that these kinds of projects tend work out great. you saw her cut the bottom off and put on a new one. in these applications clay is forgiving. I worked for months to become a capable wheel potter, and still have "those days". But the first hand built thing and almost all I've tried since have been pretty good. YOU CAN DO IT!!

Hi Terry, Thank you for your kind comments. I do use rubber tools for smoothing clay but a brush will work just fine. I work with low fire red clay and Bella’s blend low fire white clay. If you have any questions, please be free to massage me

Awesome job but does it matter where you put the holes or is it the size that matters.

Size and sizes of the holes. You can tune the ocarinas, but it is little bit complicated. I just having fun making them 😉😊. If you want to learn more about it you can search on you tube “ how to tune an ocarinas “ it is a lot of videos there
