Ya know, it's been over ten years now since I've discovered Half Moon Run, and ever since the 2012 Dev, Conner and Dylan have never ceased to impress and move me, emotionally, thoughfully and artistically. It is still so very satisfying to see these guys still around making incredible, heartfelt music; long may they run. If I have one sad regret about HMR, is that Issac Symonds is not with the band anymore. Seeing him leave the band did kind of hurt, made me sad. For me, it's as if I lost a best friend. But at least his bandmates are still out there and haven't lost or diluted their musical/artistic beauty and integrity. This neighboring Michigander in the states has always loved Canada, their people, their artists; most respect deserved. There may come a day when I move to Canada and what a delight that would be. Thanks HMR. (I also love HMR incorporating the incredible talents of the string quartet in many of their songs recently. Excellent.)
