Mathematically, what Siany did made no sense. She essentially set herself up to only make 12k profit. She also had no financial incentive to be a middle man. She makes virtually no extra money being the middle man, and opens herself up to being liable with someone else’s money on an obvious scam. Just doubly dumb.

What I think happened is that she invested 18 K allegedly, and while that investment was cooking she borrowed his money.

She was only making $2k more than she would have had she only “invested” her own money. For that, she could have just passed him the guys number and had him risk his own money.

You will not be in legal trouble for involving with them but it is a huge risk because your money can just disappear and you'll have no one to hold accountable.
