The starter bolts have a crosshatched area after the threads that act like a dowel pin to keep the starter aligned and also help to stop the bolts from backing out.

Tip for your plasma table: When cutting speed holes in parts, put a 1/4" or 3/8" hole in the middle. Collect the "speed hole" and use them for odd sized washers as the need arises.

I agree with you Brent that the front of vehicles look cool if you can see the motor when it's not being blocked by a radiator... S-o-o-o-o-o, why not braze a 90° elbow to the radiator cap area and lay the radiator flat. You get rid of the mechanical fan and attach an electrical one on top, then if you want extra airflow, build a wide but shallow air scoop under the radiator. Between the electric fan and forward movement you should have a lot of air flow

Can't remember which build it was but remember a body sanding time lapse and every time you moved to the next panel, Pedro shifted a few feet to sit dutifully behind you. Admittedly probably wanting to go indoors (it was winter in the old shop) or hoping it was dinner time but loyal (if only to a warm bed or dinner bowl) to the core.
