Oh how I have waited for this one, thanks Jack! I need a good pair and I was really surprised with some of your choices. I actually just got my first decent pair in the mail today, the Tobyrich ev800d which are just rebranded Eachine ev800d. Had to work today so I haven't flown with them yet. They feel ok I guess, the image from the camera seemed really good. I don't have much to compare them with other than the Hubsan and Emax goggles, but way better than those and for $57 from banggood, a really good deal. Anyway I was thinking of the Topsky prime 2 when I was looking around and glad that it was one of your choices. I like the way they look, not big clunky box goggles not really anyway even if they are considered box goggles, they look great. I might try them in the future if I ever decide to buy another pair, but really like goggles the size and style that you wear and maybe I can find some used ones some day, but $250-$300 is a little out of my comfort zone budget wise. Anyways thanks for doing this video, keep up the awesome work you are doing!!!

Hey Jack, thanks again for the link to your channel. I'm definitely sold on the second pair for $79. Sorry I'm brand new to goggles of any kind. I appreciate your honest review. Liked and subscribed. Looking forward to watching your vids. Have Much to learn. Can't wait to try my first ever pair ..

Ended up getting the scout. Great image and decent price with some cool features but the padding is quite bad. Once I'll modify that padding they'll be great though.

appears the skyzone and the fatshark scout has the best looking DVR and in fact I think the Topsky DVR appears better than the fatshark V5....BUT the fatshark V5 has far less break up than the rest , and both fatsharks seem better in that regard , although all have break up the skyzone and topsky have the most it appeared . Thanks for the video...like many , I to am looking to invest in a better goggle ( non box style ) step up .

The best beginner goggles are the Eachine ev800d. 800 x 480 video. You get diversity. Built in DVR. Av in port. And you can slide them apart and use as a stand-alone monitor. $85.00.

They are decent but overpriced and bulking in my opinion. I have a pair. I prefer the Topsky and honestly I would go with the Eachine OTG before the EV800Ds.
@gimpman13575 жыл бұрын
Half Chrome Agreed. They are not the most comfortable. Especially with the battery and most of the weight at the front.

I liked the attitude v5 better before I knew it was the attitude v5. Picture looks brighter. Can see better

Which has the greatest range? How can you tell? Can you upgrade the range?
@HalfChrome4 жыл бұрын
You can upgrade the antennas. They are ll pretty close in terms of range.

What about the FatShark Recon V3 for $90, great product for the money but no diversity but still a great product

Skyzone020 vs commander v1s? Which is better?

Skyzone

I have over 10 goggles/headsets of various makes. I am thoroughly fed up with telling people watching DVR footage that the image quality is much better live in the goggles/headset than that recorded. It does not seem to matter how much you pay, the onboard DVRs are all uniformly crap.

what do you think about the new skyzones with oled?
@HalfChrome5 жыл бұрын
I haven’t tested them yet but I hear good things

@@HalfChrome other reviews are saying the screens are top notch. Even better than HDO. I hate fatshark just due to the fact they arent innovating enough and keep selling stuff for top prices. To me it seems like skyzone is doing everything right and listening to what the community wants (other than module bay...personally im happy with built in diversity but im.the minority in that opinion)

Great channel! Very helpful! I’m new to FPV, trying to decide between box (fat shark scout) or dual screen (sky02C) My flying style will likely be free style / cinematic instead of racing - so I do appreciate the larger FOV from box goggles. How would you make the decision if you didn’t have access to a retailer to try? However, lots of reviews claim that the box goggles (esp the scout) that do not have adjustable focal points, could result in eye strain.

I wouldn't get the fatshark look at eachine ev800D over those, cheaper and some would argue better.
@HalfChrome4 жыл бұрын
Also bulkier

for beginners, DJI HD FPV is the best choice.

Sure if you have a $1000 budget...

I would rather spend my $1000 at beginning and not be buying analog for a few hundred and then switch to HD

The durability of the dji system hasnt fully been put through the paces yet. Beginners crash way too much to be destroying air units. Theyd be better off buying bottom of the barrel stuff so they can break it with out spending too much, rather than having to replace expensive stuff.
@evFPV5 жыл бұрын
If money is not a problem yes.... but when you are learning you are going to crash A LOT!
