I come from a Hispanic background where all I listened to was Mexican music but a teacher of mine when I was in 3rdgrade took my class on a field trip to see The Nutcracker; I was so intrigued and relaxed that my own children and grandchildren now have grown up with this beautiful gift that they composers poured their. There is something about classical music that in my opinion makes the actual melody and notes merge into a beautiful art unlike music nowadays that feel so blatant. I honestly think we’ve just delved too far into extremes these days. Music these days can get so.. Intense. It’s polished and can be beautiful yes, but it’s so extreme at times. And it can be exhausting to listen to. Lofi and Classical just allows me to exist without having to go to extremes. It’s always just a soft middle ground that they’re in. Which I honestly think is nice and it’s appealing.

1:51:16 I listened to this before!!! They used it in the documentary movie Tower (2016)! It’s the part where during the University of Texas tower shooting on August 1, 1966, two patrolmen Houston McCoy and Ramiro Martinez of the Austin Police Department blew their cover and shot the tower shooter several times. The shooter was 25-year-old US Marine veteran Charles J. Whitman. He murdered his mother, wife, and 15 other people in and from the University of Texas tower in Austin, Texas. The two officers shot at Whitman several times when they reached the tower, Whitman was killed instantly when McCoy fired at his white headband, striking him between the eyes with multiple pellets. Whitman was struck on the left side by McCoy's second shotgun shot. Martinez then snatched McCoy's shotgun, ran to Whitman's prone body, and fired a direct shotgun blast at point-blank range into Whitman's left arm after Whitman had fallen to the ground. A picture of his bloody corpse was taken and his body was removed from the tower.
