I went to give them good feedback and to commend them on there great community work not my fault they got mob handed all I wanted to do was leave through the other exit this is not how firefighters should be acting

You keep pretending all you like. Anyone with half a brain knows your entire plan is to wind people up. You could give them feedback by knocking on the main entrance door and without a camera in your hand like any decent and normal person would do. They are called “ Employed”.

Probably worth remembering that these firemen were just doing there job in their place of work, I don't think anyone would particularly like to have a camera stuck in there face when they're working.. These firemen have saved a lot of lives and the smashed up cars that you were so keen to video may well have had injured and dying people in who these guys had to deal with. You don't know that they were training vehicles, and if so it's not overly surprising that they didn't want you to film them or other items in the yard that could cause grieving families upset. These guys didn't know you and (by your own admission in the video) you were tress passing regardless of the legal technicalities. Therefore, how could these firemen possibly know that you weren't trying to do something illegal or dangerous? They have to be vigilant, so it was pretty obvious that they can't and wouldn't ever just let some random person wander in off the street without any prior approval from the Station Manager. No work place would allow someone to just wander into their offices unannounced. why should the fire station be any different? I can't understand why you're surprised/ annoyed by their reaction. It's the same reaction that most people would have in their position.
@MrCjoynson2 жыл бұрын
@No Commentz The point I was trying to make is that they were doing their job. Then someone stuck a camera in their face... which meant they could no longer do that job. Just let them get on with saving people's lives. Remember, these are the good guys who will run into a burning building to save people!

The issue is the fire yard can be a dangerous place for many reasons, this could because they are training, , or vehicles could be exiting to respond to emergencies, deciding to wonder around a firestation without a prior appointment is not acceptable on purely health and safety grounds, we have a duty of care to protect the public, as well as fill risk assesments to have people visit stations, which if you ask in the correct way the Fireservice will be more than happy to arrange a controled supervised vist,

You guys just go around looking for problems I really don’t care what any of the first amendment auditors say you guys are full of it you go around filming random places where you know your gonna get into a confrontation and then you go for a lawsuit when someone gets uncomfortable and asks you to leave. I don’t know if anyones ever told you this but it’s NOT NORMAL to go around and just start filming random buildings and stations just for no reason. Nobody does this can you guys find a hobby and stop looking for problems for no reason.

I always fully support your videos and your auditing of public buildings etc… but when it comes the fire service as far as I’m concerned they are off limits as are their fire stations…. The firefighters are just doing their job stopping you from entering the grounds of the station due to health and safety. The firefighters were right in what they said, the seconds guys didn’t go about it in a good way but they were genuinely correct to prevent you going any further onto the fire station grounds.

Trespassing is entering an area which is indicated as private and control measures are in place i.e. fence/wall, if these are not in place and you are able to walk freely into an area no crime has been committed.
@CymruEmergencyResponder2 жыл бұрын
Incorrect. Control measures do not have to be in place, signage etc is perfectly adequate.
@markellis7962 жыл бұрын
@@CymruEmergencyResponder Incorrect, for instance construction sites must consider young children and/or others that do not read/understand English, and may wander into a hazardous area, physical barriers must be in place and inspected regularly to prevent access, signage on its own will not meet current regs. The same applies to many other properties but not all, this would include industrial and commercial areas, and government buildings including Police stations and prisons etc. Trespass is complicated and never straight forward.
@CymruEmergencyResponder2 жыл бұрын
@@markellis796 it pretty obvious that the rear areas of a fire station are not public areas or areas to which the public have implied rights of access. There is a public entrance and call bell at the front. Rear areas are clearly marked as not public.

Trespassing, in general, is not a criminal offence; it is a civil offence, and therefore not a police matter. The police have zero authority over civil matters. However, trespass on the railways, in a prison, or a royal palace is a criminal offence.

You can’t simply just walk onto a active fire station. There’s a whole load of hazards moving vehicles, sharps and broken glass from doing RTC training, if the crew is training you have the potential for a 104kg ladder to land on you if they still running the 13.5m ladders. There’s a whole load of health and safety concerns and they won’t be covered by insurance. Not only that if it also has a on-call system duty on station and bells drop you’ll have 4-6 cars coming in quick to respond to the call. I’m a active wholetime firefighter and if he was on my drill yard I’d tell him to get out too because brigade policy states he’s not insured to be there.
