I find it so funny when I come across a video like this. I LIVE in Dartmouth, across the harbour from that boardwalk. The boardwalk was all rebuilt about 5 years ago, but I have not stepped foot on i since 2012. Nothing to see but people crowded all over the boardwalk, every single turn, something, somebody, somehow is trying to get a dollar out of your pocket. If i want to leave Dartmouth and go see Halifax, I can't find a decent parking spot, and when I do find one, the price for parking is insane in Halifax, AND they have put a 2 hour parking limit on all the close parking spots to the boardwalk, knowing that you won't make it back in time, so you end up with a parking ticket, and don't think if your a few minutes late, you'll be fine .. they watch those cars like SHARKS to make their profit. The locals had to practially have a mutiny to stop the parking ticket officers from also giving out tickets because people who parked on a SLIGHT incline did not turn their wheels in properly, or their tire distance from the curb was measured to make more profit dishing out tickets. Now they are trying to change parking rules so that AFTER 6 PM, you STILL have to put money into the parking meters, AND anytime during the weekends, the parking rules will now be enforced .... So people come to halifax, park your car but bring a bag of coins while you are dancing the night away or eating in the bars, pubs because you got 2 HOURS to make it back to your car... and don't forget ...Jawwalking in Halifax is now a $780.00 FINE, yes, walking across the street NOT in a crosswalk will net the City close to 1000 dolalrs .. lovely City eh?

Pretty much like any city anywhere lol. We live in Philly and it’s the same. So is nyc Miami. Toronto etc. sucks but it is what it is

You’ve never been to the boardwalk because “there is nothing to see,” which is at odds with the person who actually visited it. But thanks for the “opinion” and all the whining. Enjoy Dartmouth.
