He might be looking for approval from her, last time he told her he loves her (131) she replied back that it was lies because she thought he played with her emotions to avenge his father. He doesn’t want to hear that his true love doesn’t believe him or that she may reject him again. He keeps on saying my beloved wife and my dear wife to have a way into her heart. Trying to break some of the ice that has surrounded it because of the betrayal she felt. And I think the writers are going for “actions speak louder than words” and preparing another big confession for us to witness
