The most graceful yet beauty with brains kind of Sultana-kosem! She was never like hurrem who killed mahedevran son. She gave right to halima to enthrone her son though she could have enthroned her son instead. When halima betrayed her she turned against which is quite natural response to anything. She always had sense of right n wrong plus she was always there with a kind heart. We can never compare her powerful regime full of controversies n bloodshed with hurrem whose sole purpose was sultan’s love thats it. Hurrem wasn’t able to see any of her sons on throne but this lady alone ruled for 10yrs until murad grown up! Powerful sultana indeed

@@drfhgs428 I don't know how "old" Kosem was in real life, but her show version... Well, maybe let's say that no one deserves to be strangled in the middle of harem and humiliated. But Kosem at that point couldn't be just neutralized. She became Sayife 2.0, real hydra. So I understand, why Turhan ordered her to be killed. Let's nor forget, Kosem tried to kill Turhan's son. And Turhan grew up under Kosem's wings, she clearly knew what she is capiable of.

it was becuz of suleyman, he ruined everything by k!lling his competent sons and placing a drunkard on the throne. After that all kings became incompetent as after drunkard selim no male heir had a strong father to look upon and they all became incompetent or tyrants. If it wasn't for the sultanas, the empire would've ended long before, the empire also saw two madman sultans sitting on the throne (Mustafa and Ibrahim) and kosem removed them, if it weren't for her those madmans would've ruined the whole dynasty
