Yum yum. This definitely brings back my childhood memories. We used to get this out side our school's back gate. 25 paisa a piece....I used to spend 1 rupee on those almost everyday

No palkova is made up of milk. Milk is stirred for a few hours until it thickens and forms a paste. We add sugar and let it cool for an hour under the fan.

During summer vacation holidays we used to go to Mysuru, our grandma’s house just to eat halkova & diamond shaped coconut burfi. We used to like the holkova that was brown in color. I guess that variety they add jaggery instead of sugar.
