Great series. I love the contrast to transactionalism. That is a default for so many of us. It's one of those assumptions we make without thinking about it. Pointing that out helps me see beyond that to the bigger picture of faith that you are describing

Hey Marty, great video. It has been a good exercise for me to go along with you in this series and it was not until minute 12/13 when it clicked for me. So although you may have felt like a broken record this video, it helped me a lot. Quick note: the book of Enoch is not apart of the Apocrypha. It is however accepted in the Ethiopian canon.

Ok, Long story short. When I was 13 my father was murdered during an armed robbery. I was angry for decades. My dad came to me in a dream. a couple years later in 2012 I sat with one of the 3 individuals who was involved. He tried to diminish his role. My statement to him I was not here for that. I am simply here to forgive. A power came over to me and I hugged him after 2 1/2 hours of dialog. I went home and was still wondering why my dad? A voice as clear as an audible human said to me "Because" I still question God about things but I also understand His kingdom come and His will be done, in this chaotic world. Thank you Marty for your insightfulness.
