A funny part of trivia: the “Rolltreppe” mall got its name in the GDR because it was the only mall in Halle equipped with an escalator, and that was an attraction. So everyone called the mall “Rolltreppe”, the German word for escalator, and after the reunification the name stuck.

Früher 82-89 oft in dieser Strasse unterwegs gewesen. Habe ja in Halle gelebt,aber dann bin ich nach Niedersachsen,der Liebe wegen "ausgewandert". Diese Liebe ist inzwischen verstorben und ich bin in Braunschweig heimisch geworden. dieses Video berührt mich. Heimweh nein, aber schön sie mal wieder zu sehen.
