Hi Brooklyn Duo, hooly dooly. Your song came over the radio in my car transfer as I was leaving my Brooklyn apartment with my 4 yr old and 10 month old after my husband tragically passed away and we were heading to the airport to start a long journey home to Australia after being in New York for 3 years. Your song was so perfect for such a significant moment in my life that I made it part of my husbands funeral. We’ve walked past where you’ve performed that I also can’t help think it was maybe meant to be? Anyway, I just wanted to thank you. Your song will always be a part of me and my family x

I find myself listening to this over and over again. I'm astounded at how the essence of Hallelujah has been captured and how spiritually uplifting this piece is. It seems the sadder the note, the happier the sound. The calm and sadness and emotional chords are all there. The moaning strings, the flowing lines, the jubilant passage, the contented surrender and inevitable release... what a beautiful rendition. The more you listen, the more you hear your heart speak to you. Such depth...

Beautiful. I hope I do Marnie justice on my piano. My friend and I live in different countries but we will record the audio of the instruments and edit them together. This is to lift the spirits of everyone affected by the corona virus orCOVID if you will. Baby I've been here before I know this room, I've walked this floor I used to live alone before I knew you Yeah, I've seen your flag on the marble arch But listen love, love is not some kind of victory march No it's cold and it's ever a broken Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah There was a time when you'd let me know What's really going on below Oh but now you never show it to me, do ya? Oh but I remember yeah, when I moved in you And the holy dove she was moving too Yes and every single breath that went through us, Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Maybe there's a God above As for me all I ever seemed to learn from love Is how to shoot at someone who outdrew you Yeah but it's not a complaint that you hear tonight It's not the laughter of someone who claims to have seen the light No it's cold and it's ever a lonely Hallalujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah I did my best, it wasn't much I couldn't feel so I learned to touch I've told the truth, I didn't come all this way to fool you Yeah and even though it all went wrong I'll stand right here before the Lord of Song With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah

There's a blaze of light in every word It doesn't matter which you heard The holy or the broken Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah I did my best, it wasn't much I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you And even though it all went wrong I'll stand before the Lord of Song With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah

Magnificent piece. Hallelujah means "praise Jah". In my humble opinion, all mankind should be busy looking for ways to praise our divine Creator. Instead, we seem to keep finding ways to hurt or kill each other, so sad. Our father must be looking down on us shaking his head with tears in his eyes. PSALMS 83:18. Go ahead and look it up!
