You can make it easy by fingerpicking! Just go: 123432 every note! :D Than you are in line with the piano and it sounds soooo good...!

432123 also sounds good.
@sashanealand83154 жыл бұрын
just thumb? or what fingers? sorry newbie here
@e.miller89434 жыл бұрын
One way to play 432123 is thumb down on 4, then up with index, middle, ring,middle,index. This results in 3/4 time. If you are really a beginner, you will find keeping up with the chords hard enough with just strumming.

Try picking C, E, G, A, G, E, C, (3-2-4-1-4-2) over and over as a pattern for each chord during the main parts. It fits perfectly and I bet it will make you sleepy. It did for me. It's like a lullaby. 😔🎶

Hii does 2-4-3-1 also work? My fingers are more comfortable with it for some reason TuT
@PetrHosek Жыл бұрын
@@renniven5021 The song is in 6/8, so you need a 6 note pattern to work with equal note lengths. Or use unequal lengths such as 2---4-3---1-. Which seems to work, but the feeling is different.

Cohen's interpretation of Hallelujah. "'Halleluja' is a Hebrew word that means 'praise God'. The song is saying that there are many other kinds of praise. All perfect and incomplete praises have the same value. Not doctrinally, but It is to start from your inner passion and feelings and strengthen your beliefs in life. When one looks at the world and looks back at one's life, the only words that can be spoken are Hallelujah

@anitahawkins82384 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's in fast 6/8 time: ONE two three FOUR five six, but you can strum it like 4/4 by counting just the ONE and FOUR of the 6/8 time, so it's: ONE . . TWO . . THREE . . FOUR . . over two measures of 6/8 time. (Aside: a surprising number of pop songs are in this kind of quick 6/8 with only the 1 & 4 beats coming thru strong, most things you ever slow danced to, for instance, and LOTS of Beatles tunes.)
