Our church has a hoedown version of this song we sing every Easter. My wife and I walked down the aisle to that rendition, and while this one isn’t exactly the same, it reminds me daily of her and the many other blessings in my life from God. Hallelujah and God bless y’all always!

So, our choir is singing this song and we love it overall, but we noticed that the lyric ‘no power over sin or grave’ doesn’t seem to make sense. It is referring to the empty tomb and the victory of Jesus over death. Isn’t that exactly the power that he DOES have? Over sin and grave? 1:44
