Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley (Piano Cover)

This is the first song i ever learned on the piano. Thanks to a youtube tutorial. Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley piano cover.
I recorded the song together with all the other video's on the same day but i posted it only now but the message stays the same. 1 year ago (21 dec 2008) i began playing the piano. I couldn't read any notes and i just learned playing with youtube tutorials. I'm very happy people gave me that opportunity. In return i will post some video's of songs i can play on youtube, all first takes so none of them are perfect. If anyone want a tutorial, you can always ask for it or request an other song. After 1 year of playing i can now learn songs by ear, learn songs with chords only(tabs) and i can read notes(very slow). I didn't post all my the things i could play but you can request popular songs and i will learn them for you and make a tutorial. If you practice every day you will get very good even if you aren't talented and if you need help with it just ask me. Thank you youtube, thank you Piano.

I love your piano! I'm so jealous, im stuck with a majorly out of tune, old, Baldwin piano. :) but i love it none the less. I have a different cover of hallelujah, I'll post it on this sometime :) its pretty but I actually think i like this version a tad better ^_^ gorgeous dude. And jsyk. Hallelujah was one of the first songs i learned as well, and i actually think I learned it semi from youtube :) lol. Small world. Great cover dude.

The way I would try to learn this would be to follow the left hand through the whole song and get it down, then follow the right hand and play them together.

Do you also have an originale version? you're playing the melody of the voice with your right hand and the actual right hand with your left (discarting the actual left hand chord) - according to the original sheet music. I'd like to hear the original piano part

Big mistake: this is a Leonard Cohen cover, not a Jeff buckley cover. ps. I prefer the jeff buckley cover ;)
