For those unaware, the cellist (Ben Hong) had recently lost his wife about a month earlier. He said this performance was dedicated both to Kobe and to her. He did such a great job under such tragic circumstances.

How could this incredible cellist Ben Hong play so beautifully after losing his wife a month prior to this tribute? Pure love and dedication to his craft....just as KOBE had for his daughter, his fans and for basketball. RIP to all the victims of this horrific crash and may their surviving loved ones and fans find the peace and relaxing melodies of life once again.

Can you imagine how great the World would be if we all lived up to this attitude about life and living our best life. There wouldn’t be anything we couldn’t do. We could make the whole world great but unfortunately we have people who want to be on the dark side and create havoc, mayhem and cruelty. Kobe was a good Godly man who yes is not perfect but he tried to always be better and give it his all. I would love for every kid to take this message to heart and be their best. I hope coaches and teachers do use this to inspire them.

The cello was so beautiful and when I realized it was Hallelujah I was overcome with a powerful combination of emotions, that I think can best be described as Grace. I really think this moment can be a catalyst for our evolution as conscious beings. This past week seeing all those grown men who knew and loved Kobe open up in a way you'd never expect the jock/alpha male type to do so. Maybe I'm looking too much into this but I can say that in spite of this tragedy my faith in humanity has been rebuilt. Thank you Kobe and RIP to all 9 people who lost their lives.

But at the end of the video little teardrops fell from my eyes.... What struck me the most are his words which reverberated in my heart. Now i understand why he is adored by many. He is an inspirational human being with the highest mindset of hardwork and winning. Hoops in Heaven- A Kobe Bryant Tribute Poem The clouds are extra heavy The sky, a solemn shade of gray Hearts are aching across the nation Many are gathered where you used to play But the silence is deafeningly loud Since people don’t really know what to do or say. The only thing we know is that we will NEVER forget this day. You will be remembered as a relentlessly fierce competitor For you, basketball was more than just a sport Ball was love, ball was life One of the best to ever step foot on the court. Laker for Life…Black Mamba There will never be another You made it look so easy-turn around fade away… “Bryant for the game winning shot at the buzzer!” Drive was in your DNA You always wanted more Your final performance was epic When you added 60 points to the score Then there was that time you unleashed on the Raptors When you put 81 points up on the board. This catastrophic loss is universal You touched countless people in many parts of the world Hearts are breaking across the globe for all of those who perished today including you and your baby girl. A father, a husband, an author, a producer You were so much more than a Basketball legend You gave us 20 years on the court Now, you’ll be shooting hoops in heaven.

You are in mourning honey. Just let it happen and cry it out. But also remember to honor him by becoming a better person. Help out or volunteer. It will make you feel better knowing it is what he did. Bless you. 🌿🕊

I believe everyone has a purpose in life no matter what. As I watch this I feel that he left so much positive things he worked everyday for what he wanted for what he was passionate about. His spirit left this world but he left his legacy and that’s how it should be. We are here for a short period of time we don’t belong to anyone. It’s amazing to have so many people across the world that will remember him his daughter and the rest of the amazing souls with such great respect and love. He accomplish his purpose in life and left his knowledge to those who are still here. My condolence for each and every family member of those who left.

" You know, if you do the work, you work hard enough, dreams come true. Those times where you get up early and you work hard, those times where you stay up late and you work hard, those times where you don't feel like working and you're too tired you don't wanna push yourself but you do it anyway. That is actually the dream. " Thanks Kobe.

Brooke, I think Paula was responding to Mike, who made an absolutely horrible comment on a tribute video.

@Mike Toni I pray for your stone heart. Also, I believe you're statement is wrong. I also would love if you could enlighten all of us here as to how we can all live blemish free since apparantly they way you speak, you obviously have.
