Interkultur has been absolutely right for a decade about the excellence of the choral music that comes from the Stellenbosch choral music culture, and from under the arranging pen, directing baton, and inspirational leadership of Andre van der Merwe. But this excellence also owes a lot to the commitment of hundreds of exceptional young people over those years. I hope that you also take time to reflect on the powerful example you set for your country in areas far beyond music. P.S. This rendition is excellent throughout, but it is also worth hearing just for the brief soprano solo alone.
