Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame. I felt that deep cause I have to pray constantly for God to ease my heart and help me overcome my immediate knee-jerk reaction to fall back on my own nature of negativity and anger. It's such an awful way to be to others and I can't stand it about myself. Just one more reason I appreciate the Apostles so much. They give us all someone that we can relate to at different points in our lives and in our sin and our condition to help give us that reassurance that no matter what happens, if you always keep your heart turned to God and strive to rise above as only He can help you do, there's nothing you can do that will make Him turn from you. Peter literally denied Christ thrice and was still the one chosen to lead and build the church. If that doesn't make us hopeful, I don't know what would. It gets me every time.
