The Perfect Lamb of God who was slain. Praise Him who purchased us with His own blood. His meekness and humility to save us is beyond comprehension. We bow before You, Lord Jesus.

Beautifully done, old hymns are very precious rooted in sound theology, very Christ center and definitely not man center. Thank you all for these old hymns it’s so comforting to the soul💕✝️🙏

This song is sung here as it should be sung. I would really love to hear that tenor sing it by himself though. What a lovely male voice.

This year of homeschool we are using the "Hymns of Grace" Hymnal to learn a new hymn every six weeks. Even my two year old has this one memorized and frequently sings it on his own. Thank you for this resource!

We sing this one at my church and many others like it. All of our hymns are rich in theology. We are reformed. I urge every Christian to attend a Reformed church. If you've not studied the Doctrines of Grace, you will in a Reformed church.
