I’ve seen a lot of change on Hallmark this past year with diversity and same sex couples. Hallmark is part of my basic cable package and I would need to upgrade to get GAC. I’ve been a fan of hallmark for as long as I can reminder. Their movies take me away. Which is the reason I watch TV.

Let’s be realistic. I’m 65 but even I know that Hallmark as well as other networks and movie companies want younger people starring. Older actors can do supporting roles and the occasional old folks movies but movie fans like younger stars.

THANK YOU!!! I'm a gay man and I'm sick of the gratuitous placement of "diverse" characters in practically every Hallmark movie. It's like they are checking off boxes, gay couple, check, interracial couple, check, gay interracial couple, check, personally I find it a little offensive. Often times the gay male characters are rather over the top and stereotypical, especially in the case of the gay couple in "Two Tickets to Paradise" they made me cringe. I honestly mainly watch Hallmark/GAC movies at Christmas, because they are so hokey.

@@artflorez1568 My daughter is obsessed with collecting all the Hallmark Xmas movies. I wanted one that I loved, it was a Lifetime movie. Unfortunately it was around $150 used on Amazon, it’s a movie with Linda Hamilton. Lo and behold my daughter found it at Goodwill for $2.00😃 It’s funny when I watch the Hallmark ones I do as you said, check, check, check 😂

glad GAC family is giving Lori Loughlin a chance, I enjoy watching her, and have missed seeing her movies on Hallmark. Also glad that I have the option of watching GAC family, since Hallmark's content is going downhill (just my opinion). I hope Mark Steines is able to resolve his case with the outcome in his favor.

We watched GAC and a couple of their movies this past week and they were AWESOME. I didn't know any of the actors but they were refreshingly good and the movies were entertaining. I don't mind a gay couple or interracial romance on occasion but it's unrealistic to include this kind of storyline within every single movie. This is what happened to MTV when they forgot their channel was supposed to be all about the music, not all about activism and politics and America's big problems. GAC seems to be making movies with heart. I'm going to make the effort to move away from Hallmark for good.

It appears most of the actor’s that I liked, are no longer at Hallmark. Unfortunately, I don’t get GAC. Hallmark is going downhill, the plots to the movies lack substance, even if it has a good actor in it.

I am glad Lori is back. She did wrong, but paid for it. Her acting skills did not change. She is a good actress. And life goes on. She deserves second chance

I’m happy that Hallmark addressed the lack of diversity that they were rightly accused of. But, now they are taking it to an extreme that is beginning to be creepy. There seems to be a checklist that every group needs to be represented in every movie. This leads to the writing in of irrelevant characters that add nothing to, and often distract from the plot line. Almost all black people are in an interracial relationship. Does that really represent the black community? Don’t any of them fall in love with another black person? This seems somewhat racist to me, because it leads to the illusion that a black person doing something wrong if s/he doesn’t prefer a white person. Why don’t they just try to make movies that represent reality like most other channels seem to be able do. The overkill just seems like they are so racist, they don’t know what reality is so they just throw a bunch of random characters in there. I still watch and enjoy Hallmark, but their movies are beginning to suffer from the loss of so much talent, and too many of the new people just aren’t that good. It takes nuance to do these silly romantic movies or else it comes off as a caricature, which too many are now. I don’t get GAC because it’s not available on streaming services and I don’t buy cable anymore. I’m sad to not be able to see some of my favorite actors anymore.

Hallmark used to be a family channel. Since Hallmark has decided to produce films with "diverse" themes, I have decided not to watch this channel any longer, and support the actors who decided to move to a family friendly channel.

There is nothing realistic about baker who bakes bread that suddenly make people fall in love. Or a woman who makes a birthday wish and the guy who turns out to be her husband, she works with.

I watch Hallmark movies but not as much as I used to. The movies were so predictable. All these women who were raised by a widowed father, etc. First, she doesn’t like the guy she eventually falls for. I liked the series Cedar Cove and then it was abruptly ended, and replaced by Chesapeake Shores, with a younger cast and vibe. There are movies I skip because of their content. Hallmark doesn’t care about my views, I am sure…after all, I am over 70!

The showS ain't any better with more diversity. And several actors who left such as Jessie Metcalf had a top rated show on hallmark mysteries MARTHA'S VINDYARDS. I'm gay I'm all for more gay leads. But they can still try to work with actors who don't believe in such diversity, especially if actor is well liked and has one of the top rated movies on hallmark
