I love that you are very honest and candid! I love Hallmark but I agree, a smaller group so they can invest more money on a better company/ship would be the hallmark dream we all experience when we watch their movies ☺️

I find it refreshing to see an honest review. I always say: “Live and Learn” and in this case you learned for me. Lol. Personally, I do not do well in huge crowds and standing in long lines irritates me. And add to that lack of food. Oh my! We all have our limits but it sounded fun.

Thanks for this review. I think they were probably going for an intimate atmosphere with fans/guests. But I agree the venue and amenities can spoil a trip. Hopefully, this will become an annual event and on bigger, better ships. Thanks again.

It was their first year, and looks like they're doing it again for next year. But yes I agree - they'd do well to upgrade the event and tap into another market ;-)

Wow!!!! I had no idea there was even such a cruise. Not my cup of tea but doesn't sound like a luxury cruise. I did go on a Norwegian line cruise about 18 yrs ago and it was great so guess its gone downhill since then. Thanks for the honesty ..

I really enjoyed this video especially the personal coverage. I think a lot of people are very curious about cruising but are nervous about committing . I like that you reviewed this level and were very honest and funny too. I bet the biggest plus was just spending time with your sister and going through it together. I would love to see you on a Ritz-Carlton cruise and review that level. I've been curious about that one. Maybe you and your sister can do that one next;)!

I love your honesty. My sister and I looked into it. I thought about doing it possibly next year, but after everything that you just said, especially the spa. I have no desire to do that cruise. I'm grateful for people like you❤

Well I’m for sure glad I could do it and give everyone a heads up before spending hard earned money. UNLESS you’ve been on a cruise of that level and really enjoyed it, I would NOT spend the money. It’s too bad because the hallmark stars and the actual production execution was good for the intended audience. But hallmark decision makers missed the mark on the Venue, IMO. 💕💕

Loved your candid review! We went on a mid range cruise to Mexico > 20 years ago and hated it. I was a luxury travel girl before I had the $$$. Crowded, mediocre food, dumb entertainment. (Example: the staff threw buckets of whole fruit into the swimming pool and awarded prizes to the passengers who could stuff the most in their suits. Bonus points for the pineapple!). We recently took 2 cruises on Silversea - a small luxury line. One trip was 250 passengers, the other was about 80 (expedition trip to the Galapagos). Amazing quality and service. Personally, I’d save up for the smaller, more exclusive experience.

Holy Moly that sounds awful. I love cruising but I like to be pampered. I have no doubt I would've voted 1/10 too. Can't decide what's the worst - long lines & lots of people, bad food or the spa. At least you and Vicki were together. Being with my sister always makes things better🥰 My very favorite Hallmark actress is Kimberley Sustad. I saw her on the board you showed. Hopefully, if you had an interaction with her, she was friendly 😊 Thanks for the review. NCL won't be on my list ... ever.

Ugh - we were both looking at each other like…: “how the HE!L did we end up here??” As soon as the boat docked in Nassau - we hightailed it to the four seasons for the day. If our luggage wasn’t on the ship, I was seriously considering how much it would be to get a flight back to Miami. kidding, not kidding 🥺🤷‍♀️💕💕

We hightailed it to the four seasons in nassau so YES... we definitely enjoyed the time there. BUT my sister and I have lots of funny memories, AND I get to give a headsp-up to anyone considering going next year. So... it's still a win ;-)

Well this sounds terrible. I have never been on a cruise. Not something I have ever been interested in. I have two friends who have been on several (budget and luxury) cruises. I have heard it is mostly about eating and drinking and being around a ton of people. Not for me. This was fun to watch though, and everyone looks like they were having fun, and that is great! To each their own! 🥰

I was on the very first Hallmark Cruise and I am surprised that you gave Sixthman’s event organization an 8. I would give it a zero. I saw from your video that they added chairs to the pool area for the shows. They did not have that on our cruise so you were forced to stand for hours or, if you are in a wheelchair, watch people’s backs because their handicapped seating was a joke. Also you had to stand in line for any event at least two hours ahead in order to have any hope of getting a seat. The whole cruise was spent waiting in line. And, I know you said the cruise was reasonably priced but I think it was quite a lot more than what you would have to pay for a normal cruise. There are some good deals out there. Overall, I would give the cruise a thumbs down but I would put the blame on Sixthman for their poor event planning. The food was terrible but not getting into events was worse.

Oh interesting about the added chairs. I gave them an 8 because I made a real effort to separate the horrible venue from the actual production & execution. But yes - it was overall NOT a fun experience 😒 Would you go again?

I would only go back if they paid me. I took my mom, because she is the Hallmark fan and I am not. She just wanted to see the actors in some live shows. I just wanted to do a couple of crafts. We really could do neither. The expectations were low yet Hallmark consistently failed to meet them.
