I have Nearly Headless Nick attached to the first Story Teller collection and he simply lights up with the rest. You have to click the button to get him to talk. I think each strand is programmed for that particular Story Teller.

Hay, it's the blind person from your stream who's the Hallmark fan from the UK. Firstly, you didn't get the topper by itself to play. You triggerd Potter and Dobby, and potter himself, but unplug them all and just do the topper for something different. Secondly, for storytellers in general, here's how to get the most. *1. try each in solo mode: no others plugged in. Harry, Dobby, topper. *2. try each with their respective topper as well. Harry and topper, dobby and topper. * *then just add more pieces but try their solo modes if you want all combos. For NIghtmare Before Christmas, which has no topper, I got 40 minutes of content alone with different song verses and extra audio depending on what combos I used. For Potter, this might not matter as much, but if you do, for instance, the philosipher stone one with just Harry, you get some dialogue about Gringotts which does not appear with any others from the set or the hogwarts topper. Jack Skellington from Nightmare had one song and a couple of extra audio bits solo mode which I wasn't expecting, some of which you only get if you have all of wave 1 normally.

When dobby and Harry aren't plugged in the whomping willow tells another story. I'm kinda confused with this set though because the castle would tell the entire story without unplugging characters ect. I am hoping once we have the last ornament it all will. The Hallmark ornaments have been one of my favorite collections of all time.
