100% yes- My group of friends who so happen to be my group of Metal friends since the 1980s have board game night. btw: Iron Maiden is playing with; GnR, ACDC,Ozzy,Tool and Metallica at the Power Trip Festival near Coachella in the California Desert in early October

The policeman and the jail have not changed from the very early Monopoly games. We had my aunt's old Monopoly game from the late 50s/early 60s. This Maiden one looks epic. Great artwork on it.

The Long Beach Arena is actually not around anymore (I live nearby). The building is still intact but it’s no longer a concert arena. It hasn’t been a concert arena in several decades now. I don’t believe those are hints on the monopoly game; they’re just cool Easter eggs from iconic venues that the band has played.

I work at the Long Beach convention center which is attached to the Long Beach area and I can confirm that it’s definitely still around. It doesn’t get many shows anymore but it’s still in use.

A little off topic but when you mentioned US tour, Eddie Trunk said that it's very likely Iron Maiden will announce a US tour and so will AC/DC, but they are not allowed to announce any dates until after the Power Trip festival. Perhaps they signed some kind of contract preventing them from announcing until enough tickets are sold on Power Trip. Sales for the festival seem to be bad and if these bands announce a follow up tour no one will go.

I mean C'MON ! ? What can Iron Maiden do that's TOO much ! ?... They're just such a phenomenal band with such perfect iconography that only can make things better ! At first I thought ? Monopoly ? How can you Eddie-fy that ?... but yeah... all the albums in chronological order the tour vehicles as railroads, the player pieces are kinda relevant and each album is a "tour" so has arenas and stadiums ( which look like regular houses and hotels...I imagined silver, gold, diamond and platinum records [with multiples of each] for each one... so missed opportunity there) It's actually pretty F*CKING EPIC !. I mean way more compelling than Pokemon or the various Disney Monopolys or Rick and Morty Monopoly...

Maiden can do anything they want as far as i'm concerned. The only thing i've bought from them, well, besides tickets and tshirts and albums LOL, is their Beer. Which, as mentioned, is damn Good :)

Green Goddess trivia. There was a lady on breakfast television in the eighties who used to do a segment on keeping fit, who came to be known as 'The Green Goddess' because of the colour of her leotard. I can't remember her real name, I'll have to go and look it up*. There were also a number of obsolete fire engines that were kept in reserve for civil defence purposes by the U.K. government that came to be known as Green Goddesses because they were... well, green. The army used them during a strike by firefighters. I'll stop now. I must admit I think those playing pieces look a bit underwhelming. *Diana Moran

I haven't seen any w/ US dates except for California which is the Powertrip Festival along w/ Metallica, AC/DC, Ozzy, Tool & GNR. That's all that has been released.. Although..I have a friend who's a friend of Nikko's and there will be US dates coming probably after the festival.

I'm gonna get it just to have it as a display piece. I haven't played Monopoly in decades. It'd be cool to also get one to frame the game board and frame all the property cards just to have something different. Would love to see Kiss, Megadeth, and Helloween Monopoly. Though I fear Helloween wouldn't be as culturally significant as the other bands.

Monopoly is the ultimate capitalist game... Started out as a critique of it, and now just exist as ultimate cash grab for ANYTHING. I mean, the game itself is perfect starting point for creating actually a great game about almost anything. I think even this could be made to work some sensible way with reasonable modding. But it never happens, and every Monopoly out there is just cheaply made simple branding plastered over the game that is tied into the original premise "teach people the dangers of capitalism". It's stupid and ridiculous, but makes money, and that's the only reason game anymore even exists. If you want to enjoy it, you HAVE to use your own set of rules when playing it. But when you do, it is legitimately a great and enjoyable game. I think the last part is why the game is still so popular.
