The fact that they had to keep using the same bag of leaves for each scene 🤣🤣 Love it!

And one member of the crew picking up the leaves was none other than our very own Freddy Kruger - yup, Robert Englund! His roommate at the time was working on the "Halloween" outdoor scenes in Pasadena and asked Englund if he would be interested in joining the crew rangeling leaves - ...good work if you can get it, I guess...😄

For that scene when Michael cracks the window of the car with his hand, the stunt man had a wrench taped to his hand and it was painted to blend into his skin. If you pay close attention or pause the scene it’s blatantly obvious and kinda funny. Gotta love independent filmmaking

The scene where Michael Myers face slowly appears behind Laurie, was supposed to be from your point of view, looking into the dark and slowly your eyes adjust, and then he’s right there, I don’t remember if I read that somewhere or seen it on a documentary, this might not be the scariest horror movie of all time, but to me it’s the greatest horror movie of all time if that makes sense, it’s a perfect movie to me just like jaws, or back to the future

You know how tough Michael Myers is? When he drowned that nurse in the boiling hot water in the hot tub, he didn’t flinch at all when he stuck his arm and hand in each time.

Michael Myers' face: what you're talking about is the Mandela effect. It's an observed phenomenon in which a large segment of the population misremembers a significant event or shares a memory of an event that did not actually occur.

I believe that Michael Meyers comes back to Haddonfield and stalks Laurie because he represents an unavoidable fate that is destined to occur and repeat. The scene in every movie that gives exposition to the point of the film itself is always a classroom with a teacher discussing it. We see this in Hereditary and we see this in Halloween. And what's being discussed in that classroom? Fate. How often do we see or hear trains in this movie? An unstoppable force going down a singular track with a particular destination in mind. Laurie Strode seems like an ideal final girl for a horror film because she's not all that into sex while all her friends are bangin' babysitters. On another level, maybe Laurie doesn't want to grow up. Maybe she wants to hold onto her youth forever. But you can't stop that from happening. No matter what you do, you will grow up. Maybe that's the significance of Laurie looking at two children resting in their beds right before she's finally attacked because fate ultimately arrives no matter how hard you try to avoid it. Also, don't you love the claustrophobia of the film? Starts with wide shots of suburbs, goes into houses into rooms and ends in a closet. The walls are constantly closing in around you.
