Another thing I've thought of, I really hope we hear Michael's heavy breathing in the new movie. Not just the breathing but those strange noises he made from within the mask in he 1978 original. Those sounds are really scary I think and add to the whole scare fest of Michael Myers' character.

Reading through these comments and seeing all the disappointment. Has it ever occurred to anyone that Nick Castle may not walk the same now as he did 40 years ago? Maybe the original plan was to have him and James Jude Courtney share the role 50/50 but when Nick came in maybe his appearance and the way he moves now just wouldn't work for the sake of continuity so Courtney took over the role completely except for Nick doing one scene. I mean none of us have any idea why that decision was made. The most important thing is that John Carpenter's involvement with this is going to raise it up to the same level as the original and we're all going to be thrilled with the end result.

This was released late March or early April I believe. I heard it with my own ears. We knew a couple of months ago it was pretty much all JJC behind the mask.

Hey Dave I definitely think James Jude Courtney is telling the truth about Nick being an only one scene. You know eventually there's going to be director commentaries and cast commentaries on a DVD whenever it comes out so I don't think he would make that up. Also, if Nick is only in one scene it has to be that scene where Laurie sees him in the upstairs window because Nick actually posted a picture of himself in a room with a mirror on to social media during the filming. And if you notice in the trailer he tilts his head when she sees him in the window.

I think when Jim says hes in one scene, he means a whole sequence if shots making a scene. The mirror shot upstairs has to be him, the picture nick tweeted Feb 9 is the exact mirror and window. The closet shot I think is nick as well; his head is no where near the top of the doorway, yet in the teaser images released prior to the trailer his head is almost hitting it. I think the promo image is Jim, but the shot used in the film is Nick. Maybe that is all part of that one house scene that nick is in.

Love your channel Dave!! Me & my boyfriend have watched the trailer a million times over, & we personally think there are two options. After the he drops the bloody teeth & you see Myers pull on the mask, to us the way his body looks is more like Nick Castle's body type than James Jude Courtney & seems to slightly fill out the mask just a bit more. However, we thought it could be the angle of the shot, & if you pause at the right moment you see shaved gray hair on the back of his neck right before he puts on the mask. Both men have gray hair however James seems to keep his shaved, so if in this case this shot was James we think the head tilt in the window before Laurie shoots it is Nick Castle. Food for thought. If you look at the twitter picture Nick posted with his bloody hand, he was in an upstairs room. He posted another picture of “the shapes shadow” and it said “doing some work” or something to that effect. Both pictures were of him and from him in the upstairs room. The first time I saw the trailer, I was with two of my friends at one of their houses late at night and one of them asked if I had seen it and I wasn’t even aware that it had just come out at that time, and I’m a huge Halloween fan. If that's not Nick Castle walking in the trailer, then James Jude Courtney must've did some major dedicated studying for it. Gotta admire that passion. I don't think it matters if it's actually Nick Castle or not, just as long as the walk comes off looking consistent with Nick's from the first film. That was something that Dick Warlock (who walked way too slow like Frankenstein) failed to do in Halloween II (1981).
