In honor of the 35th anniversary of the release of Halloween 4, we wanted to share a side-by-side comparison of the film's iconic opening title sequence with the homage we created a couple years back. Thanks to all the fans who have mapped out the original filming locations, this video was shot at as many of them as we could access, 30+ years later.

I think what made the opening to Halloween 4 so great, was not just the atmosphere & locations; but also the music score as well.

Although it differed from the other films, it's still my favourite opening titles sequence of the franchise. It's so eerie and ominous, despite its simplicity. And the accompanying tuneless, muted score somehow seems ahead of its time? To me, at least. And of course, you guys did a fab job recreating it!

Best intro ever. I always imagine myself in those places with that atmosphere with my friends with sleeveless jeans jackets tight chains long hair drinking beer and listening to morbid angel pestilence slayer exodus venom 80s best time for horror and metal!!!

Awesome --Halloween 4 is easily my favorite Halloween movie….To me, it’s by far the scariest one…Wilbur’s portrayal of Michael had the same vibe, to me as Kane’s Jason…He just brought something to him, that i think made him scarier than the others….

You did an awesome job paying homage to this film but better if you had the dark cloudy sky background would have made it more creepier

Totally agree. I wish we could shot this closer to dusk in better lighting conditions. Unfortunately we had to travel 3 hours to get to this location in a car loaded with props, and didn't even know whether or not we'd have access to any of these spots. It would be fun to go back and do another updated version a few years from now, now that we know where everything is located. Thanks for watching!

I know some will get pissed but this is the only thing good about the 4 and the Thorn films. DGG and H20 did a better job than these films at bringing back a already dead character.
