Hi Keith just watched your review iv had loads of problems getting the Halloween 4k movies from amazon USA and to cut a long story short they have sent them out to me free of charge and h3 h4 h5 arrived today the others are on the way. After listen to your review I could wait no longer I popped on h4 and wow simply this film looks much better then I would of dreamed possible they have put so much work and love into this film I'm blown away. Also I'm watching in dolby vision I had no issue there so you know im playing on a Panasonic 4k player. I really enjoy your videos your collection is amazing keep up the great work and thanks

Hey Shane it is great to hear that you managed to get them all for free. That's the one thing I have to give Amazon credit for the really do look after their customers. I still can't believe how great Part 4 looks. Thankfully I was able to fix the issue with Dolby Vision. It came down to a simple firmware update and thankfully now I have no issues. Hopefully the other 4movies will look as good as this one. Thanks again Shane for checking the video out and for the kind words. Really means a lot.

Have you checked on the mastered in 4k Blu ray included. If so what do you think of it compared to the UHD disc?

Unfortunately I haven't watched the Blu-ray yet but if scream factory is anything to go by I'm sure it will look fantastic as well. When I done this video I compared to the 4K release against the Anchor Bay release that we got a few years ago.

Yeah a lot of people were complaining about the disc problems with Rollerball but I watch mine and I had no issues whatsoever. I think people were saying that the voices were out of sync and I thought they already fixed that problem. Obviously not. Sorry to hear that happened to your Mark.

Good review I got all 5 from usa. Halloween 5 has new extras I've watched the first 1 today looks amazing and no 3 Wow the sound and picture is incredible. Scream Factory did a fantastic job on these releases. Great Video Keith

This film without question wouldn't have looked anywhere near as good as it does if I still had my 8k Qled. Thankfully those days are behind me. Hopefully someday we will get a 4K set over here. I think the last time we got a complete Halloween collection was on DVD which is ridiculous when you think about it.

Yeah all 4K Blu-rays are region free but the Blu-rays you get with them will be region locked. After watching Part 4 I can assure you these are worth getting on 4k. Thanks for checking it out Garry.

Halloween 4 is definitely up there as one of my favourite sequels in the franchise. I don't know what it is but it retains that eerie feeling that you get from the first one. Everything about this release is spectacular. It's a shame like you said that we can't get these over here. I don't know what it is with Europe and Halloween but they never seem to want to release any kind of deluxe Editions over here

Paul I am not kidding you this film looks extraordinary in 4K and the Dolby Atmos is very special as well. If you're a fan of this movie you need to get this edition. Trust me you won't regret it

Yeah I have seen the German Steelbook for dawn but to be honest I own that film so many times I don't think I can buy another one. Halloween 3 is region free all 4K movies are region free but the Blu-rays you get with them will be region locked.

I did enjoy it but it had a lot of problems as well. If I hear that line One More Time evil dies tonight I think I would have put my head through a wall 😆. But I do admit it has me excited for the last one. Apparently it's going to be held 4 years after this one. How did you feel about it

@@millerman9991 It certainly wasn’t as good as “Halloween” (2018) which is my fourth fav movie in the franchise, “Halloween kills” was good & bad, the first half I enjoyed more than the last half, the flashbacks & older characters brought into the movie acceptable, some great gore & violent kills, which one a few occasions didn’t need to be so extreme. The escaped patient character 😳 had no purpose in the movie & I didn’t enjoy the part of the mob thinking he was Michael Myers 😬, & to the beat down scene from the mob at the end of the movie didn’t sit well with me 😳, after looking indestructible at the start of the movie on his escape, Myers got beat down at the end of the movie 😳& not quite enough of Jamie Lee. Overall it was a okay & average watch & had its moments mainly the first half of the movie it tried to follow the John Carpenter style then the last half it went Rob Zombie, still I was entertained & on a second watch it might possibly better. But then I’ve liked all the Halloween movies apart from Resurrection 🤬

None of mine have arrived yet, I ordered the first 3 from sacred bones, they allegedly shipped a week ago, but no movement in the tracking 😔. Hope they show up before the 31st! It sounds like I’ll be pleased when they actually do show though!

Yeah Ben unfortunately I have not received mine either. All I've got on the tracking is saying it's on route to my destination. So I'm not sure when I'll get them. I'm sure it's only a matter of days before you do get them and trust me when I say you are in for a treat when you see the transfers on these movies.

Joel I can tell you now you are in for a treat when you see this movie. I finally got my Dolby vision working on it and I can tell you now there's little to no difference between Dolby Vision and hdr10. So you have nothing to worry about. The audio is jaw-dropping good and if you're a fan of this movie I think you're really gotta get a kick out of this release. Thanks again for checking the video out my friend

Believe it or not Panasonic brought out a firmware update on my 4k Blu-ray player and that fixed the problem.

As, I said previously, I really like the artwork on these releases. Yeah, Halloween 4 has an awesome feel to it. Glad to hear the transfer is really good.

Yeah now that I have all of them in my hands I'm still not a fan of the artwork unfortunately. I really do want to like them but I just can't. But I really do like that they came in hardened boxes and that's always a plus in my eyes. This film is fantastic and the transfer is phenomenal along with its audio. Definitely gets my recommendation

Hey Connor I can tell you that every 4K release is region free. The only problem you will have is the Blu-rays that you get with these editions will be region A locked. So if you're buying them just for the 4K then you're going to be fine.
