Have you thought about having a Halloween Village?? I've had mine for the past three years now and every year I treat myself to a new big house. They sell everything at Micheals and I don't think anything in the world makes me happier than setting up my village every year! Also I am not surprised that I also bought like half of the things you had here!

If you don't put fuzzy blankets in the dryer, and hang them to dry instead, they last so much longer! I've found the heat of the dryer melts the material, similar with soft sweatshirts.

Oh yeah, i love that skeleton cookie jar! Those felt bats are awesome!! I never saw that out of candy sign at target! What a simple idea! I can totally do that with the stiff felt sheets from hobby lobby! Im gonna make some, i made my son a Jack Skellington costume for, i think it was his senior year of school. I got an old suit from goodwill, pinstriped the entire thing with white puffy paint, & let me tell you, it took hours to do that pinstriping. I also had to make the jacket tail & sew it on. Then i used the still felt sheets to make his bat tie, it turned out so cool, i cant even tell you! He still has the costume. He had 3 events that year & i had to paint his face all three times, he slicked back his hair & we used the white hair spray paint to cover it.

If the bats sticky parts start to get crappy you could just use the command strips that are meant for picture hanging! It's basically 2 pieces of velcro so you'd be able to reuse them for forever!

Hang up your soft blankets to dry when you wash them! Keeps them feeling soft.

With the blanket, to keep it soft still wash it like normal and hang dry or dry on the low heat setting. It'll keep it soft and it has saved me so many blankets!

Ugh I love all of this. I actually have that exact oven mitt, be careful with the level of heat of the things you pick up, a pan kind of melted the outside of mine. I also got one of the fall houses from B&BW but I got the other one that was a house with a tree that was inside a lantern. I didn't know they light up before I got it. I got cider doughnut for mine. I also got the Witch Please and Vampire Blood soaps. And I grabbed the Sweater Weather and Autumn candles after being 200m years behind everyone else.

I'm not going to be doing it this year but twp outdoor decorations I've been eyeing since last year are the projector lights, and a life size horse skeleton. Add a few plastic tomb stones and pumpkins and it's a decent start. (At least for my yard). Eventually maybe I can make a haunted garden maze.

Oh and speaking of DIYing! I got me one of those small foot high female busts on clearance at Wal-Mar t. Ya know the ones you can find by the frames? It was a bit scuffed so I bought some gold and orange and blue glitter spray paint.And I have acrylics at home for th details. Can't wait to spookify her. Especially to slightly match those.3D victorian cameo s from last year's target collection?

Omg I got a Halloween mug from Home Goods too!! Similar to the jackolantern, mine is an orange mug that has a black cat hanging over the rim and on the mug it says beware of the cat and has little tombstones around it.

I saw that wall plug-in from B&BW and wanted it so bad! The price was off-putting though, but there weren't any good sales going on when I went. I'll have to take another look soon.

You can wash your fleece blankets, and not hurt them. Don't wash them in hot water. Use cold water, and DO NOT throw them in the dryer. Hang them up somewhere or drape them over some chairs to dry. Fleece is synthetic made from polyester. The heat melts it and gives it that weird texture.

THIS IS HALLOWEEN!!! 🎃 just in time for Oct 1st. I loved your haul my fav was the hands you mount on the wall it reminds me of the Addams Family * I could see something like that in their house like what a nifty contraption for keys i LOVE it. And the skull succulents are beautiful I love that its decor and greenery. Are those hard to care for or are the plants really easy to care for or 🙊 are they even REAL plants they look SO real if they're fake.
