My family isn't huge on Halloween, as it is a thing in Australia but nowhere near like it is in the USA, but I personally like it because I'm alt and Halloween is the one time of year that my love of skeletons is shared and shops have costumes and decorations themed around them that I can buy not for Halloween but just as a normal thing, also get less weird looks for having them in your shopping cart as people think less "there goes that weird goth kid" and more "there goes someone getting into the spirit of Halloween", a couple of days ago I actually got a really nice pair of skeleton gloves that were part of a costume, I cut the fingertips off and now I have some cool fingerless gloves for only like $13 and I didn't have to go searching for them they were just in a normal shop (:

We do, but it is not to the same extreme as in America. it all depends on where you live and the number of kids in the area but it's still quite laid back.

I hope your joking. Halloween is my favourite time of year. I put out about 6 pumpkins in average & I dress up all witchy or dark fairy & sit outside in my peacock chair, with my cauldron bubbling away next to me. I sit outside to save my dogs from getting stressed out with the door being knocked every few minutes. I love seeing all the littles in their costumes. My son & my fella are in metal bands, so I usually blow the pumpkins out go to a gig after 9. By that time the flow of littles has just about finished. Obviously it’s not something everyone takes part in, but I’m not everyone & im a pagan, so it’s my new year. My costume is already done & I’m searching for new pumpkin ideas. I’ve had my first slice of Starbucks pumpkin bread. But my homemade one is better. It’s annoying that U.K. supermarkets don’t sell pumpkin pie spice mix. But I made up my own batch. It’s a bit weak on the cinnamon, so I’m tweaking it a bit this year. I could literally live on pumpkin bread, but it’s sooo full of sugar I only make it between October 1st and New Year’s Eve. You have no idea how much will power that takes to not make it all year. Lol. So happy early Halloween from London 🎃

But as a kid, there were so many of us and so many houses took part, I had to go home to empty my bag because it was full, I Wish I could get away with trick or treating as an adult I want free sweets🤣.

My mrs takes after the American traditions with Halloween, I’m from uk and she goes over board every year we do Halloween trees etc and every room including the bathroom. It’s her favourite season even more then Christmas so she goes all out and for me well if she comes home with new things I just agree with her that’s what she has brought is awesome and she literally does a great job and spends 5 days each year so Turning the house into a spooky house and over 13 years being with her im just as obsessed now as she is ! We also decorate a ton for Easter and do Easter Christmas trees for Easter with eggs etc on there my neighbours always always look forward to seing the new items every year and will point out anything new we have added 😂😂. We had pictures together next to the tree last year 😂😂
