See I love the bigger story behind haddonfield. Micheal isn’t their only monster. This city creates them. And if someone hadn’t stepped in a new Micheal would rise. And Halloween would never truly end

I really wish we lived in the timeline where they had Rohan / Corey take over as Michael for a couple more sequels. :(

That is in no way conveyed by the actual plot of the movie. The only people to give Corey any trouble in the film's entire runtime are the parents of the kid he killed, three letterman jocks from a Stephen King novel that the screenwriter says are marching band geeks and Laurie Strode - because movie plot. Not a tale of community corruption.

@@solsingularity106 it is absolutely conveyed through the movie. After the scar Micheal left on the town the newer generations who grew up with the stories only don’t take it seriously and those letterman jackasses physically abused him and also compared him to the towns biggest mistake. The only one to really understand Corey was Micheal. And the more Corey tried to be like Micheal the more those rumors about him began to actually turn him into the next boogeyman. While we see few people actually give him trouble everyone’s well aware of what he actually did and those who don’t want direct conflict will give him weird stares and murmurs. Nobody would let Micheal Myers just fade away. And he used that. He made sure everyone involved was either dead or scarred enough to remember.

@@supanerdreviews4056 Okay, you seem like you like this flick so I will actually explain my hate: I was watching Halloween Ends for the first time (I had just watched the other relevant Halloweens over the course of the week before), I got to the part where Corey is cork-screwing the doctor and LEAPT up because I thought that Allyson had the old fucker bagged and tagged; when I took in that it was Corey, I literally thought "oh, then this is the movie that I thought since Terry first walked on". Sooo...rather than engage in thoughtless arguing about the specific unfolding of the plot, I am going to take this chance to hate fuck Halloween ends from a different position: I'm going to display under standing. Michael was a boy that killed his babysitter on purpose on Halloween night; Corey was a babysitter that accidentally killed his boy on Halloween night. Michael's mom abandoned him but he never hurt her; Corey's mom stayed with him until the day that he murdered her. Billy was a drummer killed with his drumstick; Stacy(?) is a throw away character killed off screen; Margo is trapped and forced to watch helplessly as Terry spits fire towards Corey. Even the Halloween Ends theme whines when traditionally it only drones. I get this flick. I get Halloween Ends. It still isn't a tale of community corruption; it's a story about a guy with untreated PTSD and physical brain damage (from being thrown off of a bridge) spiraling down into violence because...*sigh* he's just found a woman who knows of and will truly look beyond his darker deeds in the name of love....Christ, that sucks...

@@solsingularity106 yes it is a tale of community corruption and how with Micheal the town never truly let it go and so he kept coming back. Yes it was to finish what he started but the stories about the boogeyman took on different meanings over time. The town wouldn’t have stopped. They never understood or forgave Laurie but she didn’t ask for it. Back in Halloween kills we see the town descend into chaos because of Micheal returning. They wanted it to end and ultimately killed the wrong guy out of hysteria. Even at the end with a mixture of his survivors and other townspeople they still couldn’t defeat Micheal. The one thing that set Micheal and Corey apart was Corey’s attachments. If he truly let go and let Micheal lead him then Corey would’ve become the new boogeyman. Micheal couldn’t keep going forever but if Corey had actually let go of his attachments he could’ve had the same strength as Micheal. Then there’s the towns perception of Corey. They never forgot. They didn’t let it go. And so the cycle continues pushing Corey further and further until he eventually found Micheal

Absolutely not. Halloween 6 must be the worst. Guy gets stopped by a bunch if rocks and looks as if he has been eating at McDonald's daily
