I agree that the beginning was so good. The ending was sweet when Winifred was sad that her sisters were gone, and she just wanted to be with them. I thought it was nice how they brought to light how much she cared about them, even though she wasn’t very nice to them sometimes. The middle was a bit cheesy, but like you I had low expectations. We could never expect for it to be anywhere close to as good at the first one.

I've watched hocus pocus 2 three times now. It was cheesy BUT I love an origin story and loved the connection between the first movie and this movie like with Billy and everyone talking about 1993 and 29 years ago they were here (and making me feel way too old lol). Maybe we can get a full movie with those little brilliant actresses of the Sanderson sisters lives ending with the Emily binx story. Who knows but the nostalgia Def weighed out the corny for me

My son was like that too, he’s 21 now. Even if it wasn’t perfect, which with me it commonly isn’t perfection. His excitement always made the doubts subside. To see them smile and laugh is the best and worth all the effort made.

Super content as usual. Knowing the background story to this day makes me wonder how you had the energy for the epic big chunker baby delivery after all this house prep work. I haven’t seen the movie yet after hearing poor reviews but will have to for posterity before Halloween. All of the decor and treats looked excellent. The kids excitement around it all going up was the best part. And like everyone I love the porch and yard decor and especially the front porch witches! Super funny with the hat/wig! You did great on the char-Boooo-terie board also. Not sure how you did it before and after the baby came but good job keeping your work going! It’s always fun to see your videos and makes my day. It’s funny because even the first movie was a flop at first and then it became a hit. I was not disappointed with the second one. The humor was cheesy like the first one, the back story was highly appreciated and the chance for the story to continue on!? Yessss!!! It even hit some of the nostalgia from the first one. Hands down loved it so much!!

Just for future reference: purchase plain white twinkle lights with white cord. BEFORE you take the cord wrap off (while they are still bundled) spray them with Floral Spray Paint. (It has to be Floral Spray Paint not Regular Spray Paint. Regular spray paint could cause a fire.) Let dry fully then on with your decorating. Michael’s sells any color you could imagine in the Floral Spray Paint. Price is reasonable, too… under $12.00 approx. Have fun!

I loved the new hocus pocus movie 😊 it’s incredible how little they have aged, Bette midler is amazing! I liked the origin story of the Sanderson sisters as well. I would’ve liked more of a story for the new trio of girls too. They were so good!

Kim for your bare wall, do a spider web with spiders or bats that will fill that spot well. Just don't put anything that sticks to walls just to web. Cause some take your paint off the wall. Good morning! I made fruit and marshmallow kabobs for my sons 4th bday party. I used black cooking icing to put a face on the marshmallows to make it look like a ghost. At first, they weren’t turning out well and I was regretting my decision to make them lol. But, you’re totally right about how kids love any kind of effort. My kids thought they were the best thing ever and they were a huge hit at the party! ❤

Im throwing a Halloween party for my 8 year old and her classmates and literally had no idea what to do but you gave some great ideas. I love candy corn so I'm glad you changed your mind. They're yummy.... they're sugary. What's not to like? Lol. I saw Hocus Pocus 2. I am in the small percent that liked it.... liked it as in didn't hate it. Original movies are always the best. I had extremely low expectations for it so I was prepared and then the movie was better than that so I was okay with it. My favorite was the beginning just like you said. I was happy Billie Butcherson was in it. He's the original actor too.

One of my favorite Halloween dishes is lemon jello with mini Baby Ruth’s in it. I actually make it in a vintage enamel bed pan…….I mix candy corn & peanuts together which taste like a payday. What ever is left I put in a small heap then cover in melted chocolate then freeze for Christmas.

I loved the new one!! I’ve watched it 3 times already lol I knew it would be a bit cheesy but honestly that scene in the Walgreens was the best part 🤣 It’s not as good as the original but I loved that it was a bit of a prequel as well as a sequel. And it felt like there was a good setup for either another sequel or maybe a mini series in the future focusing more on the new teenagers. And I wonder if they’ll explore the witch from the beginning when the Sanderson sisters were kids. Or a prequel movie/mini series with the younger actors would be cool too.

I’m 34 weeks pregnant, due on Black Friday, and all I want is the char-boo-terri board you made! I’ll have to wait till after baby comes since I have GD and have to eat low carb.
